Cars Area Together Workers
Hi, I am Judy and I have been Project Manager here at Cars Area Together since starting in January 2018. I have lived in Coleshill for more than 30 years but am originally a Cornish girl and I do make the trek down to the south west as often as I can! I trained originally as a Housing Manager working with both Housing Associations and the Local Authority. I became much more interested in the people and communities than the properties – hence my interest in projects like Cars Area Together. I have worked on other Big Local projects too so this helps in making sure we record what we are doing and that we stick to our plans. Currently we are looking at the plan for the next 2 years until 2021 and this feels very exciting – making sure we take on board all the local viewpoints.
Outside of work, I am mad for swimming – I teach little ones to swim at several local venues and have done adult learn to swim projects in the past – great fun. If you want to learn come and see me – I am sure we can get something going locally!

Hi I am Aimée, the Community Development Worker, I am either in Auckland Hall or walking around the area. You can spot me a mile of in my yellow top! I want to hear from you therefore please let me know what you would like to see happening in YOUR area (within reason). It would also be great to get more residents on board in a variety of ways from volunteering at events, running a group and/or being part of the Partnership. If this is something you would like to do please let me know. I like to chat, love eating sweets, pink is my favourite colour and yes I might be 36 however I still enjoy building Lego! And finally, if the shutters on the side of Auckland Hall are up then I’m in so please pop in for a cuppa and chat.
Look forward to meeting you.

Hi I am Luke and I lead on Physical  activity and sport in the Cars Area. We want to get everyone to move a little more each week to help to improve physical and mental wellbeing. I am around most Thursdays and would love to hear from the  residents of the Cars Area about what they would like to do around being physically active, or what is preventing them from doing this.  I live in Solihull with my wife and two young daughters, but I am originally from  London,  I coach and play basketball and I am an Arsenal season Ticket holder.
